A snapshot a day keeps data loss away!
Taking a snapshot is like taking a photo - within seconds the complete status of your system and data is recorded. The resulting snapshot can then be used to restore data to its recorded state – making it a reliable backup method for protecting against malware and accidental data modification. The “Storage and Snapshots” app can even create multi-version snapshots of your NAS. Snapshot files are also small in size and can be quickly backed up to another QNAP NAS or device to effectively double your data protection.
